"Automation of the Human Micronucleus Cytome Assay for High Throughput Analysis" at the EMS 2009 Conference
Prof. Micheline Kirsch-Volders, partner of the NewGeneris project, presented the "Automation of the Human Micronucleus Cytome Assay for High Throughput Analysis" at the EMS (Environmental Mutagen Society) 40th Annual Meeting "Genomics in the Environmental Century", which took place on 24-28 October 2009, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

You can find more information on the Assay field on the website of IMSTAR, which is a French privately owned high-technology company based in Paris, with expertise in design, manufacture and market automated digital imaging systems in cytopathology & cytogenetics, genetoxicity for drug safety & environmental biomonitoring, Life Sciences research and drug discovery.

IMSTAR is founded by Dr Françoise Soussaline, currently President, CEO & CSO. Dr Françoise Soussaline will be awarded the "2010 Irène Joliot-Curie Prize" in the "Top female scientific company career" category. The jury was chaired by Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, Nobel Prize of Medicine 2008. The Prize rewards a woman who has dedicated her remarkable scientific and technical skills to a career in research within a company or who has contributed to the creation of an innovative firm. The Prize will be awarded by Valérie Pecresse, the Minister for Higher Education and Research, in June.
