The Fifth Ministerial Conference on Environment and Health "Protecting children's health in a changing environment"  is organised in Parma, on 10-12 March 2010.

The Conference provides an opportunity to share information, disseminate knowledge and highlight experience in addressing environmental health challenges in the European Region, through exhibitions, posters and satellite events (e.g. workshops, symposia) that will take place in parallel to the Conference sessions.

Prospective organizers are invited to express interest in participating in such events. Given the limited space and time available, proposals will be selected on the basis of their pertinence to the Conference's theme and objectives, technical quality and policy relevance. Selected events will be conducted by the organizers, attended by experts and open to all Conference participants.

Registration is free of charge. The organizers are to cover costs related to travel and participation of invited experts. Events can be held in the four official languages of the Conference (English, French, German and Russian) and in Italian, the language of the host country. Information on the availability and costs of interpretation and other facilities will be provided in due course.

The interested parties can submit their proposals by 30 November 2009. The organizers of the selected proposals will be contacted by 20 January 2010.
